SANCTIONS PROTOCOL

1. Purpose and objective

This protocol aims to establish a uniform framework of action to promote and ensure coexistence, respect, and safety within the facilities of Camping Mar Menor. Its purpose is to define the procedures governing the issuance of warnings, sanctions, and, where applicable, expulsions in response to behaviours that disrupt common well-being, order, or the normal functioning of the campsite.

2. Scope of applicatiion

This protocol applies to all persons within the facilities of Camping Mar Menor, including guests, visitors, and minors under their supervision. Responsibility for compliance with the rules, as well as for any sanctions or measures taken, will in all cases fall upon the holder of the reservation, who assumes responsibility for all persons included under it.

Camping staff may not intervene in incidents that occur outside the campsite premises, such as those on the beach, as these fall outside the direct competence of the company. However, when deemed appropriate, the incident will be reported to the competent authorities.

3. Authority and reporting of incidents

The authority to issue warnings lies with the Security and Reception teams, although behaviors witnessed by any other campsite employee may also be considered. The Security team shall inform Reception of any incidents occurring during the night so that appropriate measures can be assessed. The decision regarding the sanction to be applied will depend on:

  • The seriousness of the facts.

  • The customer’s history of previous warnings or sanctions

4. Procedure

As a general rule, two prior warnings will be issued before applying a sanction, with the third warning resulting in its imposition. However, the Company may apply direct sanctions or expulsions when the seriousness of the behaviour justifies it. The Annex details possible sanctionable behaviours. The Company reserves the right to sanction any other conduct not expressly listed if it disturbs the well-being, coexistence, or normal operation of the campsite.

Sanctions will have an economic character, and their amount will be equivalent to the price of a Standard pitch according to the current season. The customer will be informed of the reasons for the sanction either verbally or in writing. The sanction entails an obligation to pay; refusal to pay will result in the customer’s non-readmission to the campsite. Sanctions are cumulative; additional sanctions or expulsions may be imposed without prior notice if the customer, after being notified, fails to correct their behaviour.

Expulsion shall not entitle the customer, under any circumstances, to a refund for unused nights, as it constitutes a disciplinary measure foreseen in the internal regulations and accepted upon entry to the campsite..
